It's quite interesting as to how Tonnique came about for me!!

As my daughter and I suffer from ezcema I had been looking for a natural gentler alternative rather than the steroid creams the Doctors were prescribing.  Having dabbled in some very basic creams, to ease the itch and the dryness, I wondered why we could not focus on making products that are beneficial to us, utilising essential oils/herbs and the likes.

As I progressed  I became more aware of other creams that I had paid a fortune for (brand names) but was at a loss as to key ingredients and how this would benefit me.  Friends and family liked my ideas and began to get interested in what I was doing...hence Tonnique was born and the fun began.  My philosophy is if you enjoy your passion you will do it well.  Glenda...

As I was one of the human guinea pigs that Glenda was using to show the benefits of  her creams and balms, I suggested that we pool our skills, as I was already making the candle/melt products (ie. a "tonnique for the soul") we could combine our passions and show our friends what we could do together.  I found that making soaps and candles, etc allowed me a chance to play and experiment with some ideas on how to make products that are eye catching and have a scent that captures the imagination whilst still nourishing the soul and looking after your skin.

After a successful day making wonderful product, we would then celebrate our achievements at the end of the day with a glass of celebratory wine (always a good way to finish the day!!!) I became so engrossed on what we could accomplish Glenda would have to rein me in, as I was totally captivated by what we could do.  We still have a long journey ahead, and you are welcome to join us.

Our aim is to produce the highest quality natural health and beauty and home products at very reasonable prices.

The partnership grew a few months ago out of a desire to produce natural products to suit their families and friends - and a desire to share what they found.

The result was Tonnique!!!
